Strung together - cotto, mosley, pac, and cotto again- has got to be or will end up being some of the most brutal punishment any boxer has taken in consecutive fights (not counting the Garcia fight). Should be a major concern for his inner circle.

Yeah specially the mosley fight and pac fight those where some beatings but maybe the one year suspension helped Him recover.

Both Cotto and Margarito took 2 crazy beatings in the past 2 years, Cotto more than Margarito (Marg-Pac) and Marg against Mosley-Pac even though he was still kind of fresh after the fight with Mosley.

I don't know if Margaritos eye will b the same again since it had to be surgically repaired(socket or whatever) but its really ****** of him not to take a tune up fight!!!! I'm not a fan of Margarito but it doesn't matter if you are or not, him nt taking a tune up is really ******!!

Resons:
1. A tune up will let him/doctors/trainer know how his eye /face will hold up in the future. And its a payday he can make like a MIL maybe...
2. If he doesn't beat Cotto he's in a dark dark place, (at this point i don't care if he used the wraps or not, i'm past it) but this is not a question that's asked just by casual fans, hardcore fans, boxing professionals, it's still a big topic in the boxing world PERIOD.

I give him props for wanting to fight Cotto again to clear his name a bit if he wins, but he definetely needs a tune up!!!! Or a confidence KO over someone or something to take his mind off the Pac beating....
