How far do you think Moorer can go?

An in shape moorer proved to be a pretty decent fighter, although he struggled those first six rounds. say he works on that and keeps in better shape, he can be a threat IMO. I think he could beat Brewster and give Byrd a fight and he showed he has KO power by knocking out a very solid-chinned and very highly regarded Jirov. Hell this may be a stretch but i think he would take it to toney. Your thoughts

Michael Moorer is a joke...Jirov is no test for someone who is thinking about becoming the real champ. Moorer looked like **** the entire fight against Vassily, he beat up a Crusier, just so happens that nearly everyone on this site had Vassily penciled in as one of the next champs of the world...wrong....Moorer champ of the world....wrong!

Don't waste your time hoping for MM to get in shape, thats like hoping David Tua will get in shape...it just won't happen.

Moorer's win over Jirov doesn't prove nothing except for the fact that he has power. He was getting beat the entire fight until Jirov got brave and tried to slug it out with him. Moorer isn't going anywhere.

Moorer will be a nice opponent for someone looking for a name on his record. His chin will fail him as soon as he steps up. Beating Jirov proves nothing imo. I do like Moorer and hopes he gets a nice payday with someone.

I don't think he is going to unify but he could pick up a title.

I say he will beat Ruiz within the next 8 months. That will make him a 3x Heavyweight Champ, and who here can talk smack about a 3x Champ?! ---- NOBODY

Almost all of you were saying Jirov was going to wax Moorers' ass in that fight, and most of you went on and on about how good Jirov was -- now that he lost he sucks huh? Yeah right -- fair weathered fans around here....

his chin is suspect, and he is out of shape too much, he could win a title but i think he will get knocked out against anyone with a half decent punch

decent???? he was taking a one sided ass beating by a much smaller guy until he got that shot that ended it. Moorer is as finished as Holyfield.

It took Moorer 6-7 rounds to find his range and to be effective against Jirov. Maybe it was; he was just shaking the ring rust off, but if it takes him that long to get set he's not gonna last long against much of the competition today. I think a matchup against Toney would be interesting because Toney hasn't really fought any tough heavyweights and also to see if Moorer can step up to the next level. Great matchup, I pick Toney by majority decision. By the way BDBowe, I would love to see a Moorer-Bowe bout next year when Bowe recovers from his injury.
