    What is Miguel Acosta's record?

Ring magazine list him as having a 27-9-2 (21) record
    Boxrec says 28-3-2 (22)
    And Dan Rafael/ESPN say 27-8-2

Anyone know what the official line is?

Ive noticed ring magazine does a lot of typing mistakes.

Boxrec's is a credible source for boxing records. however, unknown fighters or older records may deviate from the truth. There might be tune-up fights or esp. fights at the beginning of a young career that have not been counted for whatever reason.

local or world title fights are notable ones. anyway, newier fights are very well recorded.

in case of Acosta, he KTFO and upset the odds against Paulus Moses in Namibia and Urbano Antillon in Mexico in major fights. thats what really counts
