Souliman sux! When Dawson does get his chance, and does beat Pascal, he should skip the org. fees & not fight for the belt. If Hopkins wins, he's not fighting Dawson...he'll probably retire before doing that.

I thought Pac beat Cotto for the WBC diamond strap. I guess Pac will fight the loser for the Ruby strap, no higher than 147 of course.

why the diamond belt? why is that necessary? this is the wbc's attempt at a loophole. I'll show you why.

WBC light heavyweight emiritus champ = Hopkins
Therefore, no need whatsoever for a Diamond belt, which was a fabricated trinket "catch weight" belt essentially for Pacquiao-Cotto.

If Pascal goes ahead with the Dawson fight, as he should, the WBC has no legal right to strip Pascal, as he has AT LEAST until August to defend the WBC title against a mandatory opponent. Even by their own current ratings, Dawson is the #1 ranked mandatory, lmao. They're once again messing around with their own rules while trying to side-step lawsuits. If they strip Pascal for fighting his mandatory, the #1 ranked contender, he has every right to sue them.
