Arena Box Promotions has announced to the media in Germany that former European champion Sinan Samil Sam has been discharged from the hospital. Samil Sam was hospitalized in mid-December with cirrhosis of the liver. Arena says the damaged liver was restored to the extent that a transplant is no longer necessary.
