Gonzalez has looked real sharp in his recent fights, Nacho's done wonders with him....but his suspect chin makes it hard to bet on him...this should be a good one

If Gonzalez chin was better I would favor him in this bout. Hasegawa got skills and speed. I never count Gonzalez out though

He lost to Isreal Vasquez by ko but he knocked Vasquez down three time and only guys like vasquez can get up from that point Gonzalez could not recover from vasquez KD plus that was his first try to super banta then he lost to Penalosa to a body shot Banta moved up again to super banta and lost to
Toshiaki Nishioka by ko reason he got careless and got knocked out but lokk at his last 3 or 4 fights he is more patient in the ring his defense hella better
plus look at Hasegawa vs Burgos is a good prospect but not a Gonzalez yet and Hasegawa was rocked a couple of times.
Jhonny is fast and carried with him all his power hell he got stronger
I still think this fight should be in Mexico another puzzy move by Hasegawa and company

As far as I'm concerned, this is a damn good fight. Hasegawa by UD.

The news would have come as a greater surprise if Hasegawa was the one who's going into hostile territory. Super bantamweight champion Nishioka did it. How could Hasegawa not?

yup people underestimate jhonny and i dont think there are many fighters who could win a decision against jhonny. They could ko him but not by decesion he is to big and has all the tools besides that chin. But it doesnt look like hasegawa carried up his power and got koed by montiel. And jhonny is a harder puncher plus naurally bigger than montiel. Gonazales will crack that chin or out box him. Any one want to bet?
