a fight we all want actually looks like happening

Groves vs De Gale goes to purse strings, fight set for April

I guess it’s fair to say that De Gale is the hot favourite here, particularly when you consider each of the fighters last performance.

However, don’t let that distract you from the fact that we are being treated to a truly intriguing matchup. A real dislike for one another bubbles under the surface, and that in anyone’s book is a good recipe when it comes to prize fighting

All said and done, I can’t see anything but a mid-to-late stoppage win for De Gale, he truly does look like a world champion in waiting.

i read this in the mornings paper......THEN I HAD A THOUGHT.......Adam Booth is behind Groves. I fully expect Groves to now pull out if the fight does get made.

He really should IMO as Degale has progressed so much faster and I think will stop him inside 6 pretty convincingly and with ease. this would have been a fight to watch in another year / 18 months, but maybe they can have the rematch then if the fight actually happens.

i have a feeling Booth will be up to his usual bad PR and pull Groves out leaving Degal standing at the isle.

I guess i overstated by suggesting everyone wanted to see it. By rights i don’t see it generating too much interest outside of GB.

Having said that, i can’t recommend it enough.

I just hope Sky don’t PPV it. Ok, neither are world champions yet, or indeed household names, but Sky being Sky, it wouldn’t surprise me to see this being slapped with a £15 price tag

if sky get greedy, then it's off to a stream as this isn't worth 15 quid unless it's packaged with some other good scraps

                  We are getting Bradley-Alexander, Martinez/Dzinzuruk, and Montiel-Donaire.

Sorry but Groves and DeGale are still very young and need to pad there records up a bit more.

Those who don’t know, think De Gale think Andre Ward.

Groves? He’s a tough kid, was in the amateurs with De Gale, beat him there also. Genuine bad blood between them.

Both are great prospects, but De Gale, i have to say, really is a world champion in waiting. He’s a phenomenal talent, lets just hope he fulfils it
