Former welterweight champion Kermit Cintron (32-3, 28KOs) has fired off a vicious verbal assault after hearing the news that promoters Lou DiBella and Richard Schaefer, the CEO for Golden Boy Promotions, are discussing a possible fight between WBC welterweight champion Andre Berto (27-0, 21KOs) and top-rated 140-pounder Victor Ortiz (28-2, 22KOs). Come to think of it, i'm really tired of Cintron.

I mean he's a 154 pounder, trying to get a fight against a 147 pounder, then complains about the 147 guy picking on 140 guys, a big 140 guy at that.

Why doesn't Cintron call out Margarito for a 3rd match, or Martirosyan, or pursue a rematch with Martinez or a match with the winner of Dzinzuruk-Martinez, or call out Pirog, Sturm?

Why is he looking down at Welters for fights when he's at 154?

I'm not tired of Cintron at all and hope he continues calling Andrea out! I hope he serves Andrea a taste of his own medicine, going down a weight and testing his chin and if Andrea can pull it off, then props to him.

Berto is a midget who refuses to fight anyone in his division. He needs to give up the welterweight title and just fight at 140 since that's the only guys he will fight. And Ortiz who is or was being considered has a loss and a draw that don't indicate he would be able to raise his game to the next level.

Margarito isnt fighting until June against Cotto and Martirosyan is scheduled to fight already and doesnt bring what Berto brings(belt ,hbo date) Martinez and Dzinzuruk are busy with each other. Cintron has stated before that he can easily make 147 for the right fights so he obviously isnt too big for ww.
