I always thought it was becuz he was just too nice. But to by a few seconds of rest actually makes sense. He always gets really relaxed afterwards he's saying "phew... thank God he did it".

My favorite touch gloves moment was after Barrera slammed Hamed's head against the turn buckle, and Hamed wanted to touch gloves... He literally had his had out for almost 30 seconds and Barrera just stared at him like "**** u *****, we ain't friends."
