It is pretty surprising he put up $600,000 to host this fight and with ticket sales lagging it is going to be him whose pockets take the hit.

Time to start giving comp tickets again! Now that I think about it Top Rank doesn't do to bad with Stadium promotions.

What's the break even point? Maybe he is copying Dallas Cowboy owner: Jones. Or maybe he needs a massive tax write off.

Too bad the Lions didn't make the playoffs.

cause the owners of the silverdome didn't do their homework.

if they did, they'd know that

          1) bradley fanbase = 20 people (10 of them are related to bradley and the other 10 are Bscene posters who stream all fights)
          2) alexander's fanbase = local to st. lou
          3) detriot is not a fight friendly town

The owner of the silverdome just bought the venue for what a big house costs in places like California and NY. He bought it in 2009 for pennies on the dollar....$583,000 His goal is to bring an MLS soccer franchise to the city and his stadium. He needs to promote the place and let the general sporting public know that the silverdome still exists and is basically trying to make it relevant again.

              Yup.

So much for this being a "superfight". Hbo really knows how to insult peoples intelligence nowadays.

This is a boxing after dark match and its being received as such.

              I told you so!

That's where your wrong. This fight is def a superfight in hardcore fans eyes. You had two guys who were in the process of cleaning out the division stepping up and fighting each other.

It's just idiots decided to put it in Michigan rather than make money and have in the Lou.

                  Publicity I think.

They want to show people that the silver dome is back in business after they bought it for something like 800k. They might be trying to attract concerts or other sports events.

No idea why he would do that

I mean you have a fighter who cant draw a fly in Bradley and a guy who cant draw a fly outside of St loius in Devon

Then put them into one of the poorest areas of america and you have this
