HBO Loses The Two Biggest Puerto Rican Draws To Showtime

WTF are they thinking? that is one of the biggest markets in boxing for years and they let go the two biggest draws? not two mention one of those guys(Cotto) is the 3rd biggest draw in boxing right now. They pay for Berto who has no fan base at all to face bums so wtf is going on?

Because HBO can always get them back by offering more money when they fight better guys?

It's on the same date as the Martinez fight which was scheduled long ago.

Long ago? Martinez beat Paul Williams less than 2 months ago.

Martinez had this date with HBO before the Cotto-Mayorga fight was scheduled best I understand it.

Martinez gonna be a ppv? Hmm doubt he can sell as much and cotto vs mayorga.

Although it is a shame boxing is so bad that mayorga's name and **** talk has a place still.

It will be a good battle while it lasts.

Arum was pissed with hbo and did say he may not deal with them so much when he heard cotto got shafted.

Infact I hope he puts marg, pac etc... On showtime just to make a point.

                No, it's not a PPV.

But HBO isn't going to put an HBO card against an HBO PPV.
