Well he wants a tune up, none of Hayes business

If he waits till July 2nd it will be 10 months since his last fight. If Haye pulls out like last time, it will leave him with out a fight for more then a year again

He just had an injury, he wants a tune up, which shouldnt matter to Haye.

The point is that Wlad isn't going to wait for Haye like he did in 09. Are you just conveniently forgetting that they had the fight signed only for Haye to pull out two weeks from the fight saying he had a back injury but provided NO PROOF in the form of medical records. Thus only allowing Wlad to fight one time that year. Now you want Wlad to sit back again and take Haye's word for it that the fight will happen in July when Haye has already burned Wlad once and his brother? The fight with Chisora is to ensure that what happened the last time doesn't happen this time. If anything Haye should jump at the chance of Wlad just coming off a fight cause it would make it easier for him. But it's obvious he doesn't want it with Wlad. Haye vs either Klitschko is the biggest fight in the Heavyweight division right now. In my opinion the time from April 30th to July is enough time to promote the fight. It's the only fight casual fans even care about so you know they'll buy it. It's the fight hardcore fans have been looking for.

TBF Chisora can be a dirty fighter so if Wlad got cut or injured by him it might put a fight with Haye off. Saying that I dont trust anything Haye says.

ok, i see your point about haye pulling out last time, and they are protecting against that (but remember klitschko pulled out against chisora, so you can't have double standards here and say haye was faking while klitschko wasn't).

however i don't think it is reasonable to only leave 60 days to promote haye v klitschko after the chisora fight. sky and the other broadcasters would want more time to promote the fight. it's definately over complicating matters by fighting chisora in the interim. why bother? why make things more difficult than they have to be, and jeopardise one of the big money fights of the decade?

i know that you are going to say because haye might pull out and leave klitschko hanging, but after klitschko pulled out againgst chisora 3 days before the fight, haye would reasonably be risking exactly the same thing happening to him.

I also pose this question to Haye fans.
Didn't Haye say he was coming to the Heavyweight division to rid the division of the Klitschkos and breath life into the division?

Instead he pulled out of a fight with Wlad, then led Vitali on in negotiations only to sign a fight with Valuev.

Didn't both Haye and Booth say there was no interest in a fight with Audley and didn't both say the fight wouldn't happen?

Instead the fight did happen and it was a bigger disappointment then people thought.

And this is the guy you believe?

Why would someone defend Haye? He has 0 credibility. He was the one who aggressively called Wlad out like 2 years ago and hasn't been looking for a fight with either Klitschko, he's a fraud.

The reason i'm not all mad about Wlad pulling out against Chisora is because he is still going to honor that fight(unlike Haye when he faked an injury). Ask yourself this: Why isn't Haye more adamant about Wlad basically saying he can beat down two Brits in the matter of 2 months with ease? That should fire Haye up and make him want the July 2 fight even more. Let's be honest man, the money is there for this fight. Both guys stand to make good money from it. So why is Haye so up in arms about there not being enough time to promote? I guess that's where you and I differ man, cause I think the drubbing of Chisora is a perfect opening for the promotions cause it would give the fight another angle of can Haye get revenge for the Brits by beating down the guy who just whooped Chisora. Although I don't think Wlad is taking Chisora lightly, there really isn't going to be any other outcome then Chisora either maybe surviving cause Wlad is timid in the fight or him getting knocked out cause Emmanuel Steward is screaming at Wlad to finish him. Steward said himself in an interview he's not interested in seeing these fights go the distance anymore, he wants to see knock outs.

Have to agree with all of the champ's points here, they are bullet proof and Haye like always is the one stopping the fight because he is making good money barely fighting at all and fighting soft opposition.

It will be a good thing if he did indeed retire and give up his belt.
