Comments Thread For: Randall Bailey Would Love To Check Andre Berto's Chin

The last time we saw former junior welterweight champion Randall Bailey inside of the ring he was involved in one of the most bizarre endings to a fight in recent times. Fighting in an IBF welterweight eliminator against Morrocon-born Las Vegas resident Said Ouali, Bailey got off to a fast start with a pair of knockdowns in the early rounds but saw the fight changed to a no-contest after Ouali went flying over the ring after being lifted in the air by a confused Bailey.

Is there anybody who actually wants to see Bailey vs Berto? Berto needs to step his game up. Not a Cintron fan, but I think Andre knows Cintron would clean his clock which is why he won't entertain the idea of a fight with him even though Cintron is calling him out. The funny thing is Cintron would be by far the best name on Berto's resume.

Yup,it's all bad with Berto,he didn't get the big fight so now he's gonna settle back into his old routine of fighting undersized,or simply overmatched opponents for the rest of his days.I mean Bailey's got the power, but I don't know if he has anything left to get it there with.

i hope the boxing public keeps the pressure on berto, what a joke this guy has turned out to be. He's just waiting around for a big $$ fight but he's not paid his dues at all. I REALLY, really hope this berto project BLOWS UP in HBO"s face, that wld be awesome. I can never forget getting screwed by boxing and HBO as they paid Roy Jones Jr and Oscar De La Hoya millions to fight BUMS!, BUMS!! on pay-per-view for $$49.95-59.95 b.s. LOL

I can just hope Bailey catches him early, it would be a good thing for the sport if Berto gets blasted out and stops sucking up HBO dates so we can get more fights.

Bailey is a real puncher and has fought his way back into contention. He will always have the puncher's chance and his game is to land that right hand and he will go out in his shield trying to do so.

At this point of the game Berto should beat him easily. Berto should make a statement and take a fight that he actually can lose. All Berto has to offer is an undefeated record and a major title. That big contract HBO gave him is making it easy for him to sit around, fight a mediocre fighter or wait for a real big payday.

Berto hits harder than Urango and will clean the ring with Bailey.
