I've searched previously for Montiel highlights, but never could find one. The guy is 3-division champion and in P4P list, but it look like even among mexicans he doesn't much following. I like his style, so much different from usual mexican style. Even his stance is different, the way he keeps his body and head straight, the way puts his legs, the way he moves and bounces.

He's got a funky style, moves strangely and unpredictably. He might beat Donaire, but I don't think he can outpoint him at this stage in their careers. He's got to win by kayo.

The guy doesn't stand there and take punishment like most mexican fighters also. Look on youtube for his Hasegawa fight. Hasegawa was looking good but Montiel only needed a little opening to end the fight. Montiel is a great counter puncher and Donaire needs to be careful not to get caught sleeping or he will be sleeping.

Montiel is a beast!!

He's one of the best and most athletically gifted fighters in the game today but the thing is he's inconsistent, he plays around sometimes and losses focus. That's usually when he gets in trouble but when he's on his game he's a real pleasure to watch.

Nothing wrong with that man. This is a 50-50 fight if you ask a lot of experts. I like Nonito in this one, but I wouldn't be upset if Montiel won cause he's a good fighter. Either way, boxing fans win, this will be a great fight.
