Well this makes sense! I never understood why Nonito Donaire was never on the Pacquiao undercards! Arum saying it would be a Filipino overload is pure hogwash. Manny may only have two or three fights left in him and what a way to pass the torch and try help build another Filipino PPV attraction (Pinoy Power hasn't done **** for Donaire) by getting the name out there. Every casual fan that is Filipino that knows Pacquiao has no clue who Donaire is. Maybe after he fights Montiel and if he wins, he can get more name recognition. It's just hard to believe that Manny wouldn't want his fellow countrymen on his cards (who knows, maybe it's an ego thing)...

Nonito is one of the top young American p4p champs in the sport. In order for him to gain the notariety, his skill should b showcased on the big stage i.e. ppvs. Al the BS excuses r jus that. Every promoter does this. And Arum TRIED but was shut down by team pacq!

Arum just likes to nickle and dime fans by spreading his stars out on ppv's.

I mean put yourselves in Arum's shoes.

Why put Nonito and Manny on the same card, when you can have a PPV for $65 bucks in Nov., then another one (Donaire as the headline) for $55 bucks.

It's also the same reason Juanma and Cotto are never on the same card and neither were guys like Montiel and Margarito etc.

Juanma=Latin Fury PPV

Donaire= Pinoy Power PPV

Manny=Major HBO PPV

This is the best explaination I've read, and it makes sense (for big Bob). If only Bob would just come out and say it like it is instead of his ****** comparison to ice cream to beat around the bush. It just sounds insultingly dumb.

But to be honest though, it doesn't sound like Arum had a problem with it until Koncz made a stink about it (he was already on the card and was taken off?). That's the flip-flop Bob I know. It saddens me that Manny has put his life and faith behind such greedy and kniving people.

There really isn't any personal feud between Manny and Nonito, if anything Arum is to blame for not having Nonito on the undercards. Additionally Rachelle Donaire is also known to stir the pot on occasions and has been rumored to be the root of the cause on some fights that failed to occur with Nonito, and as seen on the other vid posted by another user, she reacts on "rumors" that Koncz has motioned to remove Nonito on Pac's undercard.

Manny has never said anything negative about Nonito, if anything he's praised him more in public as a fellow pinoy boxer and same way goes for Nonito.

Arum, being the greedy old **** that he is, should be blamed for any sort of friction between the two teams. He'll only acknowledge that Nonito is only second to Manny Pacquiao (his cash cow) in terms of boxers from the PI, granted that's a pretty big accolade but the manner that Arum constantly reiterates this fact makes one thing that Nonito is only an afterthought compared to Manny:

I don't understand why people have to put hate on the Pacman. I also think that Donaire is an up and comer with loads of talent, but the current King also has loads of talent as well. They just have different styles.

Let's not speculate on any gossip and rumours, the decision to not put them on the same card are based on business factors not personal ones.

Regarding the clip you posted - Man, it's gotta suck to have your own promoter at YOUR own press conference constantly referring to Manny Pacquiao. I think Nonito is doing a great job of keeping his feelings in check, because that's gotta get hella old for him to hear all the time.
