I'm really surprised they are doing it for this fight. And I haven't seen it myself (probably cuz it's so damn cold and I can't be bothered to look up when I'm trying to race my behind indoors). Usually they do it for PPV fights or big names. They are really pushing these guys, man. And I think part of it is so that they can find a viable opponent for Pacquiao. Or Mayweather. Or Berto. They will dangle these guys because they aren't connected to promoters who will be a problem. And because they are both guys who can get snatched up by bigger promoters. Dont be surprised if it happens. But yeah man, nothing beats seeing those banners and posters. Nothing.

I think the big reason is because it is a big, competitive fight and there is a large hiatus between HBO fights, more then a monthI'm really surprised they are doing it for this fight. Good point about the lag between fights. Actually good point either way. I don't know if the promo is working, to be honest though :/.Comment

I haven't seen it either, not in person. I'm going down there once the snow completely melts, or melts a bit more. I am really clumsy in the snow and I really don't wanna bust my butt falling anywhere, plus it's cold like you saidI'm really surprised they are doing it for this fight. Yeah this fight, I am very surprised/impressed that non-PPV fights like Martinez-Williams II and now Bradley-Alexander are having their spotlights in Times Square where it's crowded and thousands of people will see these banners. It's a good thing. I mean they're doing it for fights that actually need the promotion.Comment

Indeed. HBO is making a big statement. They want more big stars and I have a feeling the winner of this match up will be a big star.Comment

I know, it's hard to just promote them out of nowhere. I mean i'm pretty sure Bradley isn't know outside of hardcore boxing fans, and Alexander isn't known outside of St Luis and hardcore boxing fans. But this is a pretty good start I guess. More big cities should do this for boxing fights. There are ****** banners everywhere, they can make some space for a simple boxing banner.Comment

Lol, I know it's not gonna be boring at all. Alexander will make it a fight just like he did against Kotelnik. People say he lost but leave out that he threw over 1,100 punches and came forward all night. If he fought Kotelnik's fight, it would have been boring. He made Kotelnik throw more punches than usual.
I feel that even if he loses against Bradley, he's gonna leave it all in the ring and he's gonna make the fight. Then you add that Bradley is not a runner, and will mix it up, this is gonna be a really great fight between 2 young prime undefeated guys. Might even see a rematch/Trilogy.Comment
