Joe Louis would have killed the Klitschko Bros?

I, like many, have trouble taking Carnera too serious but Simon would have been a leading contender today and Baer is right there with the Klitschkos...and he wasn't on his big bro's level. Buddy was underrated, skilled with solid hand speed and real pop, better fluidity in the pocket than either Klit brother if not as good at pacing or fighting tall. Louis was very good against bigger men and the sort of combination puncher neither brother ever has to face.
To the question, Joe Louis would not have killed the Klitschko's. He could have beaten either. I think he and Vitali would be a boat of fun to watch.Comment

Styles make fight and Louis was much more deadly against fighters who came forward against him. That's not Wlad or Vitali's game. They like to box outside and control the pace. Additionally they are both much larger than Louis whom comparitively was a smaller HW.
They would be competitive fights....Louis stays in because of his power and technical ability, but stylistically he doesn't present the sort of problems a young Mike Tyson would to the Klit bro's.
Conclusion: Toss-ups.Comment

Ray Austin was KOd by every ***ish heavyweight he faced.
Abe Simon and Buddy Baer were both ***s, and much bigger than Atila Levin.
Abe SImon 6'4, 255 lbs TKO 6
Buddy Baer 6'7, 250 lbs KO 1

Primo Carnera 6'6, 260 lbs TKO 6

The Klitschkos have never killed anyone with a single punch...Max Baer and Primo Carnera both comitted homicides in the ring and Joe Louis withstood them both.
Question: have the Klitschkos ever faced a one-punch ko artist like this?

I like how posters call louis slow. He's a lot faster than either the klits footspeed and definetely with his hand speed.Comment
