There used to be Black HW Champions from the 1930's to the early 2000's, but now, there arent any.

Soviets/Eastern Europeans weren't allowed to turn pro until the 1990s because of the cold war.

Eastern European fighters are superior.

the former soviet bloc is a boxing hotspot, has been for the last decade. they have an excellent amateur system. and right now life is hard over there. you are either lucky to have enough money to get educated and get a government job or something, or you work with your hands, or fight with your hands to have any kind of real life. and it seems like fighting with the hands has been a very popular option as of late. There really is going to be a huge influx of these tough bastards in the next decade or so

There will be some very good African-American heavyweights come along within five years.

And keep in mind, it's just the Klitschkos that are dominant ATG heavyweights - all the other European fighters are beatable. So once the Klitschkos retire, soon afterwards there will be another African-American heavyweight champion.
