Cotto-Mayorga to be a Showtime distributed PPV

    Per Dan's twitter.

Not sure if that means it will be an actual Showtime PPV or kind of like JMM/Casamayor but with Showtime instead of HBO.

I don't have the answers, this is just off of a blurb on Dan's twitter.

If I had to guess I'd say it'll be like $40. Martinez is gonna end up fighting Dizdurnik on free HBO. That's a much better fight, but Cotto-Mayorga will be wayyy more action.

So far the card doesn't look to be all that great, but Cotto's always gives me my money's worth. Probably has to do with me being a Cotto fan.

If it's a Showtime PPV, it will be produced and distrbuted by Showtime, which means Showtime announcers, etc. If it's only Showtime distributed, it will be basically a Top Rank PPV with joint graphics.

          I can't say I'm 100% sure though. I'm not buying Arum's bull**** either way, but hopefully it's $30, instead of $50.

man, I hate boxing sometimes. This totally should be on the same card. How is martinez going to be a big star headlining by himself? he's not.

Dizdurnik is a boring ass fighter too, although it's a much better fight technically speaking.

But I wouldn't doubt if cotto-mayorga is way more exciting. If that makes sense.

            ahhh

Yes, it is. ESPN doesn't have the budget to pay for it, and HBO and Showtime aren't going to pay for it. Therefore it's PPV worthy.
