Dan Rafael told Judah on twitter that ESPN's Friday Night Fights tried to pick it up with a higher budget than they usual use, but it still was not enough money to get Kathy Duva (Promoter for Main Events, who promotes Zab) to take the fight.

It'll be a small PPV event, but none of the cable giants will have anything to do with it. It could set up something like a Ortiz/Judah fight, which HBO would buy.

Even though its a bull**** title shot, if Zab wins Ill owe him an apology. I wrote him off as never winning a major title again several years ago. Then again it is about time for him to put out a disappointing performance.

It signifies Zab Judah's decline from the top. He now becomes a trial horse. Sad for him. Where will a win in this one get him ? or is it just a tune up for him ?
