Well, just like there are black guys who can't tie their shoes, there are black guys who are extremely intelligent. We're all talking about percents, what the probability is of a certain trait occurring in populations. If you're going to talk frankly, the "athlete" gene probably does occur more often in blacks, but so does the ****** gene, according to Hopkins' logic. You have to take the positives along with the negatives.

Not being racist, but here's my problem with black people like hopkins. They talk some racist **** all the time and barely anyone complains. We are talking about a race as a whole. yes blacks are more athletic. but blacks are poorest, perform the worst academically and they dominate criminal activity in every society they reside in.

That is a consistent statistical data across the globe in many many different societies. blacks aren't even the richest in Africa.

when looking to make a point, always look to statistics of a large data pool to draw conclusions. the larger the pool the better because it shows no bias and more consistency.

Hop is not completely wrong. Africans were sold as ****** on the West Coast of Africa and the slave traders and purchasers only chose those that looked physically fit and strongest on account that they had to endure a horrific trip via boat in conditions that bred illness and death and only allowed the strongest to survive. You know how many died along the way? Once on American shores they were usually sold or traded again as ****** and the purchasers only wanted the fittest and strongest of both sexes. I've simplified this, but the short of it is that African Americans are somewhat different that blacks that are not from America because of this(I include all the Americas). There are many books that discuss this.

The reason Blacks fair so low intellectually around the world, and they do, has more to do with socioeconomics and the lack of resources. It's not genetic and to suggest so is ignorance. Besides, round intellectual white men have done nothing good for the world. Pick your poison.

To some extent what he mentions is true. African Americans and other blacks that can trace their lineage to West Africa have naturally lower body fat percentages and subtle differences in skeletal structure. This is why Jamaicans (apart from sprinting being ingrained in the culture) and other black sprinters can run sub 10 and a white male is yet to do it.

On the other hand you won't see a black man do what Michael Phelps did at the Olympics either.

Depends on the sport......certain physical traits may make some black boxers faster (more quick twitch muscle fibre) but at the end of the day boxing is equal opportunity and it's skills and other aspects (styles) that win you fights. The ***s and Italians no longer send the hundreds of contenders to the ring they once did, so circumstance plays a part too.
