what's up with Bute vs Hopkins? Hopkins is willing and able to take on all Canadians. He said he would destroy all the sorry ass canadian fighters. What is bute doing about it??? He's going to fight no namers until 2012!

He didn't want to fight Pascal in the biggest fight in Canadian history, even though it was for tons of money and the legitimate Championship at 175, I doubt he'd do it for Hopkins. And I know Bute is struggling to make 168, he's a huge super middleweight right now.

A Pascal fight, might've been even more lucrative for him than the winner of the Super 6. A Hopkins fight too, but Bute and his management will play it safe until he loses to Ward.

Arthur Abraham is holding up the possibilty of Super 6 winner vs Bute at the end of the year. It is bull**** that he may be granted a tune up fight before he fights Andre Ward. Noone else in this tournament got a tune up in between losses. Hell Ward faught a a fight outside the tournament, but on the same schedule with everyone else, and took on a guy that would probably beat half the tournament or more. Its bull**** Abraham gets time to rest and try and "regain confidence" against a bum before going into the semi finals. Shotime needs to step in and say "**** that. You will fight Ward the same night as Froch fights Johnson."

I understand why you're upset, but Abraham hasn't delayed anything in this tournament so far. In fact, he's been on the other end twice. Against Dirrell when Andre he was "injured" and they moved the fight a month back and to Detroit instead of Southern California, and then for almost three months against Froch because of location disputes and Carl's back injury.

And believe me, he won't be resting. Arthur likes to fight often, and he will be staying busy so the same thing doesn't happen as in the Froch bout when he was inactive for seven months.

The Bute hate makes no sense for me. Why should he go up in weight when he is fighting comfortably at 168 right now. Why should he go up in weight? Why don't the 175 pounders come down? It goes both ways.

All the best are tied up in the Super 6 tourney, so he's just keeping busy. If he doesn't fight any of 'em when it's over, then that's when you can jump on him.

Also, you could note that Dirrell and Kessler are out of the Super 6, so it wouldn't be too much of a surprise if he gets one of them this year. (However, I can see his management making him hold out for what would be a very lucrative bout in him vs. the Super 6 winner)

What competition? Of course he should be stopping those bums he's fighting. If he does anything less than blow right through them then he'd fail. I mean he almost got stopped by a come forward fighter in Andrade. And of course there aren't going to be that many KO's in the Super 6. They are the elite of SMW. Who has been stopped in the Super 6 other than Taylor who was at his best at 160, and Green who loses all of his big fights. Even lost to Miranda.

The hate that Bute is getting comes from him avoiding to fight the rest of the best at 168-175. Bute could fight Hopkins, Pascal, Dawson, or Cloud at a catchweight for no title. Just to shut critics up but no, he's fighting Magee who's not even a top 10 Super Middleweight. He could fight Robert Stieglitz who is ranked SMW #7 in The Ring and is the WBO champion.

So he should have to move up in weight now because his comp in HIS weight class is tied up?

You really think Stieglitz wants some of Bute after Bute stopped the two fighters who stopped him?

There really isn't much he can do right now but wait until some names free up if he doesn't want to move up and I don't think fighters should be obligated to do so just because there isn't much where they are.
