wtf are you talking about? even free fights get promotion. of course they don't get the same kind of promotion that ppv fights get like 24/7 but still the promoters will do something to let the public know. in fact, offering the fight free will get more viewers and thus will get more exposure for the fighters. you don't need heavy promotion for this fight because it's free.

Great match up but not a superfight, If we call this fight a superfight what would we call a Mayweather-Pacquiao fight then?

Because they're not the two best in the division. This is a glorfied title defence for Bradley.

the term superfight is not given out in hindsight though. it is given out in foresight based on the magnitude of the names of the two fighters. castillo-corrales may have been a better fight to watch in hindsight but if you had polled the general public on which fight they would prefer to see BEFORE either fight, may-DLH would have beat the sh** out of castillo-corrales. that is when the term superfight is used...BEFORE fights...not after.

Fights on PPV are a problem, period. PPV has messed up boxing.

Superfights don't always involve the best, just the most famous.

I guess we shouldn't judge fights based on star power then huh??

to some degree. but the term superfight is not given out to fights purely based on star power either. it is usually given out to a fight with star power and that is a fight among the two best around that weight. which is how it SHOULD be used. it should not be used to describe a fight with the best two fighters around a weight if the general public doesn't know them and it should also not be used to describe a fight with two stars who aren't near the top 2 around their weight. gotta have both for a superfight.
