Come on dude, don't ever compare a Mayorga or a Margarito to Manny. You as an avid Manny fan should know better than that. Manny is light years ahead of those and its not even close. Shane isn't going to pull those performances out of his trunks and if he does against Manny, I guess that shows us where Manny is.

I never compared Mayorga/Marg to Manny. I just used Mayorga as an example to show how Shane was done long before now. When everyone was hyping up the Mosley/FM Jr. fight.. it was obvious to most.. as it is now.. that Mosley was pretty much done. Just because he knocked out a Margarito, as some of you like to say was tailor made for Shane, did not make him a respectable opponent to one of the most skilled boxers in boxing history (Floyd). He had a punchers chance.. as shown in his recent outings.. (lucky KO to Mayorga, surprising shot to Floyd early in the fight).

Bottom Line:

Floyds defense is one of the best in boxing history IMO.. Shane caught Floyd with a big punch that came close to putting him out.

Mannys defense is not even close to being on the same level as Floyd.. Shane can and probably will catch Manny with a big shot. Factor in that Shane, even at this stage of his career, may have more speed than most of Mannys recent opponents... you have a definite possibility that Mosley can pull this off.

With that being said.. Manny takes this via UD/TKO is my prediction.. but in boxing, you never know.

The saddest part about this fight is, a promoter has to defend the opponent, it's funny I don't see any other promoter defending his fighter's opponent, just Bobby. That's an all time low for boxing.

If Arum is "concerned" about Mosley's skill level. It completely explains why they won't comply with the USADA testing for a fight with Mayweather, who's skill level is about 100x better than Sugar's, as was seen this past May.

It always seemed strange that Manny would not face Mosley, but apparently wanted Mayweather. Mayweather will be the cash-out, Arum never wanted that fight.

They will milk the Manny-cow until it is dry, and then feed it to Mayweather.

Again, the point is, Manny has no business losing to Shane Mosley at this point in their respective careers. None. And...I don't expect him to.

Floyd's defense is a better than Manny's. But that doesn't change the fact that Manny has a beard on him! Especially since he has moved up, he has taken some big shots and that hasn't slowed him down (which has ppl su****ious). Shane's speed won't bother Manny, not at all. You will actually see Manny counter Shane with that right hook. Add to the fact that Shane has never been a huge one shot knockout artist in his career. If Shane lands something big on Manny, I expect Manny to slap his gloves together and beat Shane to the punch and hit him alot the remainder of the fight.
