Comments Thread For: Bernstein Talks Pacquiao, Marquez, Morales, More

One thing I have always admired about Showtime analyst Al Bernstein is the amount of passion and objectivity that he has been able to blend into his commenting throughout the years. When Bernstein speaks I can never sense any hints of bias or any kind of hidden agendas about him, as he instead puts his focus solely on giving his viewers the best possible insight into the action at hand.

Weak chin? Lopez was almost knocked out hanging on for dear life against a C fighter in Mtagwa. What happened in his next fight? Stopped in two against Gamboa. What the hell are you talking about. Keep your mouth closed and do your research. Gamboa has been down a few times but all were flash knockdowns. Lopez can punch but has suspect defense and Gamboa's speed should carry him to a victory. I think Lopez is somewhat overrated even if he's exciting to watch.

Good interview. I can't wait for bradely alexander, that fight needs to hurry up and happen, should be great. I got bradley by late stoppage.

Hopefully pac mosley will deliver better then everyone thinks. I'm starting to lean that way, the more I look at it on paper the less terrible it looks, could deliver heavy on the action side, but I might be wrong. Maybe it's the beer goggles, but that chicks starting to look do-able.

I don't know if anybody noticed, but Al said "juncture" like 47 times.

              Montiel-Donaire = great fight
              Possible Lopez-Gamboa = great fight
Pac-Mosley = yes we are witnessing the contimual rise of the Pac Nation.

Pac is a horrible singer, but he appeared and sang twice in Kimmel's show. He can't act but he got movie contracts, he can't really eloquently speak in public but he won a congressional seat (yea, campaigning means communicating effectively). People just want to see him, even if he faces an opponent that's got a zero chance of winning, his fights will always be something people look forward to. I am not one these people.
