say what you want, but the man has a point...top black athletes will always be held at a higher standard, and fmj choosing to flash big wads of dough in front of the cameras, just perpetuates the stigma that black athletes have a tendency to be spoiled, arrogant asswipes once they get a come up....it only serves as a setback to the work that conscious athletes like jackie robinson, joe louis, mj, clyde frazier (who was the epitome of style and class on the off the court) have exhibited over the years....who better to ask than holmes, who had his share of media problems during the peak of his heavyweight reign...he definitely had legit reasons to act quite pompous if he wanted to...

Holmes is an ass hole too and wrong about a lot of stuff, but I agree with him on Floyd. Even *****'s have to admit Floyd is not the good guy.

Floyd talking trash is OK, it's part of boxing, but beating on women, the fact that he has retired and then comeback to fight older, or crappier guys is wrong.

Pac needs to fight Mayweather, Berto, Bradley, none of them are on his level.

Another worthless opinion by someone nobody cares about just to lift up Pacquiao and bring down Mayweather. Look I don't know why we care about all the things these guys do outside the ring. Inside the ring is why we talk about Floyd Mayweather Jr. People love to say well look at Pacquiao and look at Floyd. Pac is the hero of asia and a honorable congressman (as if people in congress have a history of being honorable lol) and Floyd he's just a wife beater. But not me. When I compare the two I compare them inside that ring. I look at Floyd after the fight and Manny after the fight. One has just been battered and the other looks like he just got done with a light workout.

I like your post. You're a good comedian. After the fight. Manny looked battered while Floyd looked like he just got done with a light workout. You failed to mention that after each fight, Floyd behaved more brain damaged than his opponent or Manny. Made me wonder who really receives more punishment everytime they're in a fight (Manny/Floyd).

Floyd is a brilliant fighter in the ring. Put a mic in his face after the fight or catch him on camera. His stock goes down. Wayyyyyy Down....

That's why Oscar was a big commercial success. When they interview him at the end of a fight he was humble and always said something about working on his faults... etc. Floyd is one step away from Tysons comments about eating children.....

Untrue(In bold). Floyd's post fight interviews are always respectful, and full of class. I dont ever recall seeing Floyd talk down or talk disrespectful in a post-fight interview.

You are an idiot and a complete moron who obviously knows zero about the history of the fight game. Did Holmes beat up an old Ali? Yes. That was the mandatory title defense i.e. "defend against Ali or your title is gone." Did Holmes get blown out by Tyson? Undoubtedly. Tyson was younger, faster and better at that point in time. At no time however has Holmes ever been considered an *******. He's never been considered anything but a good guy. Beyond that, his skills in the ring are unquestionable. He beat anybody and everybody, except Tyson, and faced them all....all the best at the time.
My argument is not that Floyd is not a good fighter and that he hasn't faced the best. I think he is a great fighter and I think he has faced the best. My argument is that this guy is far from a nobody. This guy is legit and so are his credentials. Floyd is an *******. It doesn't take away from his skills.
