    Freddie Roach /Roger Mayweather

So who is the better trainer for their main fighter?
As in who suits theur fighter better
and would their fighters still thrive without them?

Id say Floyd would do well without uncle Rog, as he has said that they dont really come in with a gameplan

Pac needs Roach to keep him in check.. but i really dont know if pac would need roach at this point his skills have peaked and its hard to say if pac is "dependent"

EVery fighter needs a trainer. Even the smartest and most skilled fighter can't see everything inside the ring. The fighter needs a trainer to spot a lot of things he will surely miss either in training or in the ring and articulate them to him.

There is a saying, a lawyer who represents himself in court is a fool. Same thing goes for a boxer. They can't train themselves and expect good results. Boxers fight, trainers train. they have different core competence that goes hand in hand.

      My opinion.

This isn't true, they have a gameplan for every fight.

I'm not sure either fighter needs their coach skills-wise at this point but one thing Roach does for Pacquiao is make sure his mind is on the job and not in politics/movies by getting multiple sparring partners to beat him up. Mayweather's mind is always focused because he's so scared of losing.

Yeah he is always focused, alot of people like
to say he's scared of manny, but I don't think he's scared of manny I just think he's scared of losing, screwing up his undefeated record!
