Its boxing everybody gets rocked at some point. I just think hes tough and his skill set wont go up much from here. The way he fights the only thing that will change in time is his ability to take a punch. So I say jump now if I was his manager.

Yeah it is fantasy but a good one for me. If you are a Pacquiao fan then that argument is kinda silly. At this point he and Floyd are about even on fighters with wear and tear. Pac will be fighting a shell of a Shane. I dont knock him for gettin his money. If you remember correctly most people thought Gatti would put up a good fight and didnt complain about the match up. That was until after Floyd made it so lopsided.

i personally think that the only reason that anyone cares about canelo is because he's a mexican with red hair (and women like him i guess??) and his bouts are usually entertaining. not impressed with his actual skill set though. the only thing he's done thats really impressed me was stopping baldomir. what am i missing? i'm honestly baffled at all of the talk of him fighting/beating guys like mosley, cotto, mayweather, or being the future of boxing/p4p #1

So true. He wont ever be the greatest pure boxer. But his name is hot enough to get a big fight or two. Not to mention that MF can hit hard enough to change a fight with anybody. Hard hitting and a good chin are his elite qualities and he will lose a little of that hear and there as time passes. Gotta ride this wave, a lot like Baldo did but he's younger.
