Say what?
Manny marquez ppv was when they fought at 130. A weight class not known to produce high fans especially ppv buyers. Btw, 400k is now the record for most ppvs sold for the lower weigh classes.Comment

You people are extremely short-sighted
You do know that Pac's Marquez fight was BEFORE DLH and 24/7 AND it holds the record for most PPV buys for any fight lower than 147, right?
If you look at the buys history between both guys before Oscar and 24/7, Manny outdoes Floyd whose highest buy rate was 350K if I'm not mistaken, so comparing their Marquez numbers doesn't make sense. If Manny fought JMM now (he should've just to shut everyone up, especially Juan Manuel) and had all the hype and promotions, it'd do 1.2+ mil buys EASILY.
And Floyd was paid $22.5 mil guaranteed because Schaefer/GBP was ****** enough to think Floyd-Shane would do 3-4 million buys, and it blew up in his face... probably lost money on that fight despite it doing big numbers.Comment

Agreed on the first part - no question Manny was on par with Floyd prior to both fighting Oscar. These #s are predicated moreso on timing than names. But since then, Floyd has been marginally better. You people are extremely short-sighted
