to be fair he only beat Jacobs, who was at best a prospect(although a highly regarded one).

generally HBO does mention him in the list of the 'best at 160lbs' thing whenever they talk about the division though.

its like when Linares got beat by that one mexican guy in the first round. Linares was about as highly regarded(maybe more) than Jacobs, and that one Mexican fellow not only did it earlier but I think he was only 22 or something.
When someone upsets a prospect, theyre not always loved by the promoters, because often times that same guy will turn around and lose not too long after.

A few reasons. One of the reasons is he has nothing to offer, but is a very capable fighter.

Also, he hsn't done much besides beat another prospect. Great/good win, but it doesn't put him up their with the big dogs.

He should just keep building it up on American TV and hope that he HBO feels he's worthy at some point this year. Maybe beat another prospect or contender.
