this thread has changed topics, its originally about Ronnie Nathanielsz crediballity as a journalist, he is far too biased and will lie to support pacquaio, he can even say a sentence involving the name pacquaio without adding pound for pound king and fighter of the decade before it, Petition to get Ronnie off boxingscene!!!

I thought a KD only got you a 10-8 round? Then what happens if your opponent takes the rest of the rounds 10-9 huh? I think it tells a far more telling story if a guy gets up and styles on you for the majority of the fight. That's why pac should have taken the 3rd fight and settled it for good.Comment

It's been awhile since I last watched pac vs marquez. I think I'll re watch both fights. Not like any good matches are coming up anytime soon.Comment

LOL holding on to from falling by being hit is a knock down.bah, thats ******. fighters fall into the rops all the time after being hit, thats doesnt mean they should all be ruled knockdowns.
If Marquez was desperately clinging onto the ropes and his butt dipped to his knee level, thats something else.
If you actually watch the video, Marquez has stopped the downward fall already before his hand even grabbed the rope.
Ronnie has always been obviously biased. hes sounds like an idiot here since those 4 knockdowns did not occur all in one night anyway.Comment

It's easy to see how Marquez looked like the winner when he came back from 3 knockdowns to clearly win more rounds than Pac. And the second fight was one of those fights that could have gone either way, but if u look at it right, Marquez should have won...
Now as far as "what is considered a robbery". That's purely in the eye of the beholder.
Did Floyd "ROB" Castillo, or were most of the rounds really close, and it can't be considered crazy to think Floyd go the nod in each.
Which ever u decide, neither is wrongComment

rd. 1 was a 10-6 round...plain and simple.
judge scores should've been....
115-110 Manny Pacquiao
115-110 JMM
113-112 Manny Pacquiao (Burt Clement's card). A ridiculously close 1-point victory.
Since when have 1-point victories been a "robbery"? Seriously, what fight were you guys watching? I had Manny winning only because of the 10-6 Round 1. Without that, he got his ass whooped.
Fight obviously wasn't a robbery.........it was a close fight that the majority of "boxing people" felt should have gone to JMM. Also it's not mandatory to score a 10-8 rd if a KD occurs, and in fact with no three knockdown rule in place many judges won't go below a 10-7 round no matter what because they feel it leaves the other fighter too far out of the fight if they subsequently win the majority of rounds after the round in which multiple KD's occur.Comment
