Seriously, I don't see how this is a bad thing for Haye. Chagaev is an absolute nobody. At least Ruiz is an English speaker and has a win over Holyfield, that's an easier sell than Chagaev. I'm sure he can find somebody who's both a lower risk and an easier sell than Chagaev, even if it's a ****ty Valuev rematch.

In sporting terms it was ****, but financially Haye's done ****ing well by rejecting the Vitali fight and going for the WBA title instead.
The problem is he wants respect for doing so.

Chagaev looked like Ali fighting Valuev next to Haye's sad effort.

I think a Haye fight with James Toney is actually a possibility.

      Holyfield would CRUSH David Haye.

There's no way Haye accepts a fight with Holyfield unless he somehow became his mandatory.

Holyfield isn't going to crush Haye.

Does anyone honestly believe Haye cares about respect? He sold PPV against Harrison. HARRISON. It's all about the money and he can do better than Chagaev, certainly in risk:reward terms.

In the UK he's a hero and the Klitschkos are ducking him. There are very few real boxing fans.

Haye's already been vaccinated. All UK pro boxers are required to be vaccinated for Hep B.

In no particular order, I'd like to see Haye fight
              Either Klitschko
              Adamek
              Chambers
              Arreola
              Chisora
              Boytsov
              Pulev
              Povetkin
              Solis
but the odds aren't looking good.

Hate to say it but I'd actually prefer Haye fighting a shot Holyfield. Yes, it may sound controversial. I couldn't rule out Sam Sexton as a possible opponent for Haye, you just don't know. And looking at the bigger picture, I doubt Holyfield is going away till he gets one more title shot, it makes sense!

I'm thinking it will be Danny Williams.

He's shot, and is around the same age as Haye's four opponents since moving to HW.

This time, Haye will bet money on a 5th round KO - and he won't throw a serious punch until that round, after saying "now" to Danny.

Yeah if only Haye was brave enough to turn down an unification bout to face a "tough" challenger like someone who isnt ranked in the top 15 in the world.
