Donaire - Just fight tall and stick to the game plan. I know for sure he will get hit with big shots cuz of Donaire's not so great defense. We'll see if his chin can hold up and maintain his gain plan against a great puncher.

Montiel - Continue the relentless pressure cuz one punch can change things. Be cautious though... Donaire's power is underrated.

montiel traveled half of the world to unify, and that wasn't too long ago.donaires last opponent was at last minute replacement.

Ahhh, no. Vic is a bigger win than anything Montiel has so far. It is only one as you say but he is probably the best little man for a long time in this era.

Beating a prime Vic by KO is the biggest win anyone fighter could have had at the time and even now at those weights. Especially as after it he went on to become the first to ever unify the SFW division, beat P4P Mijares, HOFer Arce, Kirilov etc.

Donaire over Vic is better than Montiel over Has.

Anyway, I think Donaire wins this one surprisingly easy. Montiel will be outboxed badly and just have no answers. Donaire is like Paul Williams with his freakish, unnatural size for those divisions but unlike Paul, he has incredible skill, power, speed etc.

Hopefully I'm wrong because I'd like to see a massive war but I very much doubt it.
