JMM vs Cotto would be a hell of a fight!

After the JMM vs Mayweather fight is clear that JMM does not belong anywhere past 135. JMM looked fat and sluggish at the welterweight limit, his frame is just too small.

Anyways, I say that JMM vs Cotto would be a hell of a fight, JMM's beautiful combinations and uppercuts would do some damage! Not saying JMM would beat Cotto, (so calm down *******s) but I say JMM gives him a hell of a fight and goes the full 12. Remember, Floyd is one of the best, if not the best fighter around and JMM still stood his ground and landed a few...and Cotto's defense isn't exactly the best, he eats uppercutsand rights which happen to JMM's best punches.

Cotto has good boxing skills. And more to the point, JMM got dropped heavily by Katsidis, who isn't much quicker than Cotto. One big left and JMM won't be getting back up

Just because FM didn't stop him, doesn't mean Cotto (who's carried his power up to 154) wouldn't. Different styles

This term is loosely thrown around, but style do make fights.

JMM fighting Floyd and standing his ground doesn't necessarily equate into him doing the same against Cotto. JMM is a beautiful boxer and is still one of the best fighters in Boxing.........below 140lbs.

I think it's a situation where size inevitably will favor Cotto too much as JMM proved he wasn't as sharp at Welterweight as he was at 130-135. We must also look into his recent fights with two 135lbers Katsidis and Diaz where though we saw the cagey, skillfull Marquez we've come to know prevail, he also showed vulnerability IMO someone of Cotto's size and skill set would cause a lot of damage to through out 12 rounds.

Cotto at 147 would be too much for JMM.

jmm doesnt apply the pressure needed to beat cotto..he would attempt to outbot cotto (which he will)but cotto will be applying the pressure and would wear jmm down

This would have been a hell of a fight when Cotto was campaigning at 140 and a much more aggressive fighter.

Cotto is way too big now and doesn't fight like he used to so the fireworks won't be as great. Total mismatch, Cotto sparks him now.
