very true...vivian harris was kinda shot, and peterson schooled him after the knockdown. it's crazy too cause lots of people i know, including myself, had high hopes on victor and thought he was going to be a bad dude. but after the peterson fight, he said the draw didn't matter, that boxing didn't define him. pretty bold words from a kid who still has a lot to prove in boxing. i don't know, after that performance and reply, i'm not to sure on what to think of ortiz, to being compared to future big names in his division like khan,bradley, or alexander.

If i was in charge of Maidana id have him take on Zab Judah, a dangerous and credible opponent but one he should beat. Zab has issues of his own and i think Victor is the puncher and the stronger fighter. Zab Could pull it off but Ortiz Should and if he cant then mabey he just aint that good.


After that - Maidana! He needs that fight Bad! It might go pete Tong and he gets sparked but if he dosnt avenge that loss and exercise those demons then i dont think he will ever be the fighter he was or the fighter he should have been

IMO he should move up to 147lb and look to fight for a belt there..But tbh I think might be damage goods but only time will tell..
