Mexican prospect Victor Zaleta is getting the chance of a lifetime when he faces Argentinean Omar Narvaez (32-0-2, 19 KOs) for the WBO super flyweight title. The fight was officially announced by People's Promotions in Mexico. Zaleta, who in Mexico is called the "Baby" will be the replacement for his compatriot Jesus Ruiz who suffering from the flu and won't be ready by the date. This battle will take place in Monte Hermoso, Buenos Aires, Argentina, on February 12.

Good fight. Zaleta has been rumored to be in line to fight Narvaez for a year and now he's gained some extra experience. Narvaez has long been an underrated fighter but I thought he showed some signs of his age (35) in his last fight against Briceno. Narvaez in his prime handles Zaleta but this could wind up being a tough fight for the WBO champion.
