Do You Believe Haye Will Retire This Year?

If Haye has not stepped in to the ring with a Klitschko by the end of the year do you think he will stick to his word and retire? He will be well off financially but can anyone leave the kind of money that would be on the table with a Haye vs either Klitschko fight and walk away? Haye says that for years people will ask Wlad why he never fought Haye but I guarantee people will ask Haye why he never fought a Klitschko aswell!! Is Haye just ****ing on about the retirement to sort of make the Klitschkos think time is running out? Maybe Haye might push his retirement back a bit to get the payday.

I like all 3 as boxers but if the fight isn't made I will lose more respect for Haye retiring than I would for the Klitschkos.

P.S Please don't repost all the bull**** about whose fault it is the fight isn't made and who is ducking who etc... Just your thoughts on if Haye will retire or not this year with or without a Klitschko name on his record.

Until he fights Roy Jones because Jones called him out.

In all seriousness, I can't believe Haye would retire without fighting either Wlad or Vitali. When that is, this year or next or later, I don't know.

For a savvy businessman it doesn't seem like a very savvy move for him to retire without fighting at least one of them.

He might stick around a bit who knows.

i struggle to follow Haye and i think probably most do too. he seems to troll the fans and other boxers. who really knows what he's going to do. if he swerves vitali and then comes out of retirement when vitali leaves at the end of this year, then he's pulled a Wlad and blatantly avoided Vitali....but if he retires and doesnt make a come back and has avoided both Vitali & Wlad, then he's a bigger fraud than i had imagined.

who knows what him and booth have planned. i think whatever they did plan has backfired spectacularly at the moment. how they make the next move from here really will determine the taste left in many peoples mouths on david haye.

Roy should stick too his announcing position on HBO because I think he has done a great job in the fights I've heard him on.

I agree Haye needs to fight a Klitschko before he retires because when he stepped up to Heavyweight all he talked about were Klitschkos!

Did Hopkins retire in 2008 ? Did Hatton retire in 2008 ? How many times did Leonard and Ali retire ? Did Barrett or Tony Thompson retire in 2010 ?
Haye will neither retire in 2010 , nor will he fight a Klitschko in 2011. They are not dead enough for him yet. Not that I blame him for being afraid , after all ,they are not guys his own or even close to his own size.
The question is why don't Solis , Haye , Povetkin fight each other ? they even avoid yet smaller risks than even fighting each other.

I think he will retire but fail as an actor and come back 1 year later to face Wlad.

I don't believe anything that comes from Haye. Win, lose or draw he will make the most money out of fighting one of the W bros. If he doesn't he will deserve all the negative press that he is going to get

He won't either retire or fight a Klitschko.

He'll milk the WBA title for as long as he can, and fight Roy Jones and Evander Holyfield.
