First serious thread in a while: Caballero vs. Ponce rematch

I think he's at 130... Ponce just moved up from 122 not too long ago.

Litzau vs. Solis would be cool, even though Litzau is a sitting duck to get beaten. He's earned a shot at something big though... kind of like how Brinkley did after beating up Stevens.

I wish Caballero had the balls to fight Litzau again.

I said as soon as that fight was over that he would make no effort to get a rematch and I was right. Excuses, excuses.

I am hoping it ends up being Ponce vs. Litzau just because it would be a damn good action fight. However, I think that would be poor managment of Ponce's career, as he hasn't even acclimated himself to 126 and would be asked to fight at a catchweight of at least 128 if he were to fight Litzau.

Did people really forget that up and coming undefeated prospect Ponce lost to 2 loss Caballero... what exactly has changed since then? Caballero has lost, but so has Ponce. How is he going to solve the height issue now that he couldn't back then?

Caba looked like shiiit last fight and Ponce beat Medina and Escalante pretty convincenly the height issue well i guess thats up to Ponce team to figure out

i think they should fight again as ponce has definitely made some technical improvements over the last 5 years. it's the type of fight that SHOULD be on ppv undercards
