The promotional tour is ready to begin for the junior middleweight showdown between Miguel Cotto, who won the WBA junior middleweight title, and Nicaragua's Ricardo "El Matador" Mayorga, which is going to be held March 12 at the MGM Grand Hotel in Las Vegas, Nevada. The tour will reportedly begin on Thursday January 13 in New York with a press conference at BB Kings Club & Grill in Times Square area, sources said.

This is nothing but a tune up for Cotto. Cotto will cut him in half with body punches and we move on.

It's too bad this is on PPV as the 154lb division is wide open and could have some nice fights down the line but this isn't really one of them. Still Cotto will need a tune-up and some more time to work with Steward so I don't really blame him.
