Never been there myself, and would love to see this fight live if only it were a little earlier. I'll be busy in September.

Poland also borders Ukraine, so the ethnic Klitchko supporters will also come in droves. I don't think 62,000 is enough to accommodate everybody interested in this fight.

Everybody talks about how America runs boxing, but other than TV and PPV exposure, the attendance figures are laughable when compared to European numbers even for mediocre fights.

I find it quite humorous that Sky has held a date for Khan when he has not even signed a contract and announced an opponent.

If David Haye were nearly as popular or as influencial as his fans believe Sky would have given Khan an ultimatum. Get a fight signed in the next 10 days or we are going to go after Haye-Klitschko and push you back until June-July.

It doesn't make any sense either that "Sky didn't want to do 2 PPV's so close together" and then say that July 2nd was the best available date.

If Haye goes ahead with Chagaev in May it will certainly be a PPV and won't be separated from the Khan PPV by more than a month.

If you ask me it sounds like Haye asked Sky to bail him out of fighting Klitschko in April by providing him a bull**** excuse.

All three very good points, but.....

The other half of that paradigm is Wlad. I find it staggering that Khan's next fight against TBA, is even slightly comparable to a Wlad/Haye fight?

Are Khan's expected numbers through the roof? or is he being preferred simply because of a contractual obligation?

What am I missing? Why didn't sky jump on the biggest earn?

I'm happy that Tomasz Adamek will finally be getting a big payday. He deserves it more than anyone.

Not only is Haye-Klitschko a much bigger earn for Sky, but it's also a fight, as we have witnessed, that they may very well lose the ability to hold by not jumping on it now.

Whereas if they dissed Khan they may piss him off a bit but where else is he going to go with his UK broadcast rights?

On top of that Haye has never made any inclination that he wanted to fight in the US, whereas Khan has stated his desire many times to become a star in the US (which I applaud him for). The point being however, that Khan cannot and will not guarantee that his biggest fights will ever be broadcast in prime time in the UK whereas Haye has, and always will, fight at the most profitable hour for his Sky partners.

Three more good points, but now I'm as confused as fak.

There is no reason for this fight not to happen, and PLENTY of reasons why it should.

                    Fkn boxing

I'd like to call Haye a ducker, hell I'd like to call Wlad a ducker, but I am not convinced that either statement would be correct.

My buddy at work thinks that boxing is a ****** sport

Well, how the hell do I argue with him right about now ?
