to be fair he said that to justify a ****ty one sided fight against a guy who was at least 6 to 1 underdog if not more

This entire argument should be placed in the past tense.
Mosely WAS one of a group of elite fighters years ago.
He is still dangerous for a maximum of three rounds. After that, father time captures his previous skills and diminishes them.
Floyd shut him out and Mora, who cannot break an egg, took him 12 hard stanzas. Unless Manny takes it easy on the faded fighter to make a show of it, Pacman should end Shanes career with ease.
When a fighter like Pacquiao suggests that this is a strong match up, it is simply another tactic to promote a contest without merit.
Shane did not earn this shot and that is the end of the story.

Hopkins at 45, had a man in front of him who did not do very much.
