I have, ever since I was young. Still go to workout(my son trains so I go watch him work) and stay in shape some what.

I know it's off topic but that's why I don't go all out to **** on fighters(except for Marg. I can't stand dude). Being a fighter ain't easy. Road work, sparring, training etc... That's not even including time they have to share with their love 1s(if they have time to) or at their reg job.

i have my own version of floyd/roy/and marvin's styles but it is very polished and i pride myself on staying sharp and having great balance and timing because i spar with bigger guys--i have always sparred with bigger guys to polish up my defense against them--that way i don't have to focus primarily on one thing in camp--

i throw sharp combos but i love to move around the ring and trap my oppnents to come to me so i can take their distance from them---that's how i won all of my fights-lol

it's just mind over matter if you ask me-lol
      I see your from Texas.

When I get in boxing shape maybe we can fight so I can test your claim.

i do, have been doing it for about a year now just to keep in shape and learn techniques. Its really fun, but very tedious and hard work. I have somewhat of a stressful job (computers) so having an outlet where I can let off some steam and stay in shape is great.

I use to train at a local gym in Azusa, Ca for about two years. I was about 12-14 years but I stopped!! It is hard to dedicate yourself to boxing. It was cool though, it teaches you how to scrap if ever needed. I myself definetely feel that if you trained in boxing and have some knowledge of all the different punches, defense, stance and movements you have a very big advantage over people who never trained in boxing..I wasnt real good but my brother was vey good, he became an amateur and had a record of 7 wins no losses but had to stopp due to a heart problem that was discovered after a fight he had. He trained with great fighters like Zack Padilla from Azusa, CA and Shane Mosely would stopp by every so often!!

Used to train a lot, not so much these days. Board exams take preference over boxing right now, =[.

But there is nothing quite like hitting the pads.
