Why did Oscar and Tito never rematched?

I thought like PAC and Floyd today, there were so much money on the table for both guys to make. I thought De La Hoya won but he chickened in the later rounds. It be interesting to know if Trinidad is relly a better boxer. Thoughts...

Tito went up to 154 and ODLH admitted that he wouldn't fight him at that weight. When Tito signed to fight Reid and Vargas he said that he didn't believe that the fight was happening till he saw them in the ring. ODLH thought that he was going to control the terms of the rematch and that all roads led to him

Street Cleaner is the correct one

Truth: Tito wanted 50% while Oscar wanted more. /Thread

If you don't believe me search around I won't do it for you OR you can always create fictional stories.

This is true, Tito offered the rematch many times but Oscar just wanted the bulk of the money...

And yes if Oscar would've grown some nuts and at least jabbed the last 4 rounds, he would've won that fight EASILY, but he didn't, I think the fight should've been a draw since he ran, the beggining of the fight was a boxing in and out lesson from Oscar, he knew he couldn't stand there and trade with Tito, hence the running at the end of the fight...

None of the people stated above know facts, The rematch was talked about 5 times!!!!! Oscar always wanted more money instead of giving the fans what they really wanted!!! Tito wanted to fight him again, not saying that Oscar didn't but he thought that he deserved more money...

In all seriousness if they fought again the same way and Oscar didn't run he wins the fight easy...

Now if he would go into a second fight to trade with Tito, it's lights out for the Golden Boy...

Also Oscar was using Tito's name to make other fights for himself.
