So who said Manny wont eventually face Berto? It's obvious that fight will happen so why are you knocking Manny for not facing him.

In an ideal world, I would love for Paul Williams and Berto to fight or for Berto to face the Alexander/Bradley winner to give Manny a clear opponent to select in his next fight.

Berto gets nothing from me because he had a chance to establish himself as the #1 guy for Manny if he would have grew a pair and faced Mosley. He chose Hernandez and now that he has a chance to face another top guy (Cintron, Clottey or Collazo) he is going after Bailey.

Again Berto gets none of my sympathy.

Being a titlist doesn't mean a thing.. Does that mean Mannys victory of David Diaz is significant? He was a titlist.

Being undefeated doesn't mean a thing if you haven't faced stiff competition.

Who else is there at WW? I don't agree with the Mosley fight either.. Shane was done prior to facing Margarito. Shane lucked out with a late KO against a washed up Mayorga. But at the end of the day, Manny is doing what most said he should have been doing in the lower weights.. clean up the division and defend his titles

After this fight hopefully Floyd comes out and accepts the fight with Manny.. If not Manny should go to the lower weights and clean the 140 lb division.. If not, he should fight JMM/Berto to shut the rest of his critics..

It's real simple.. not really sure why this is even up for debate.

I don't think Marquez has to do anything to earn a Pacquiao fight, his 2 battles with him in the past give him that right. It's a matter of politics and logistics. Arum is not looking to co-promote when it comes to Manny, especially not with archrival Golden Boy and Marquez DID price himself out. On top of that, Manny wants to stay at WW, Marquez is a LW now... so too many obstacles in the way. But I'm sure all those issues would magically disappear if JMM suddenly became a 'free agent' and talked to Arum.

He chose Bailey after Pacman went a different direction.Pacman chose Mosley right after Berto came off an impressive win, that is a fact.

Well I never thought he has to earna fight with Manny.

Truth is Manny vs JMM will happen above 140, whether we like it or not.

If Manny beats him, then there will be a ton of excuses, so to kill that, if JMM were to beat Berto or any top JWW, then people couldn't say **** about whether or not Marquez belong at those weight classes.

IMO it doesn't matter as come fight night JMM will be 145 and Manny 148, but you know haters and their ability to make excuses (including Marquez himself).

BTW I know the counter argument is Manny should face Marquez at 135, but why should Manny drop to 135 then back up to WW to face Mayweather? All he is doing is hurting himself in his next fight at WW.

He could have fought Mosley in Fall 2010.

He only has himself to blame for losing the Pacquiao sweeps stake.

Again, Berto gets none of my sympathy as he is clearly not serious about being a top fighter.
