a few weeks ago cintron calls berto out, calls him a *****....and berto responds what would a fight between him and cintron prove, essentially saying that he'd beat cintron and a win against cintron wouldn't do anything for his career......

i guess a win over a randall bailey who's basically done as a fighter and who by the way was never a full fledged welterweight, will do wonders for berto's fihting career!!

Berto essentially ducked Mosley with that earthquake excuse. He came back with no description of his family being safe or something that were never in harms way in the first place. Not even an attempt to re-schedule the Mosley fight.

Actually, there was an attempt made... but apparently the same agreed to terms that were O.K. when they were signed to fight prior to the Hiati tragedy were no longer good enough for Berto when he came back. I have to wonder what happened between them already being signed and just coming back from Haiti that made Berto feel like he was worth more. HaHa - IMO it says a lot about who really didn't want to fight.

I don't care how old Mosley is because he still has a better career
than Andre Berto will probably ever have. I like to see people get
paid but Berto should get cut off and earn his way. He is at the
moment, a waste of talent. On top of that. Berto pulled out of
a Mosley fight after Shane fought Floyd because he overpriced
himself. We might as well watch women's boxing because that is
all the sport is being run by now. All these promoters and fighters
have become chicks with their attitudes and grudges. Shame to
see such a great sport take a hit like this.
