You got a point there. It's double standards to play hardball with a proven commodity like Martinez and go soft on a pampered fighter like Berto. I just don't understand why everybody freaks out and just calls Berto a fraud though. The Welterweight division isn't that good right now. And Cintron, Clottey, and Collazo are all fighting at 154. Not only that, I already explained why I don't want to see Cintron fight Berto. He doesn't deserve a high profile fight after that bitch ass shit they pulled with P-Will. Clottey doesn't deserve a fight with Berto either and that's hard to make anyway because Clottey is with Top Rank. I think from a style stand point, with Bailey's power he's more of a threat than Clottey is anyway because Clottey is not a ****er and he's timid. I don't really care if Berto fights Bailey. I just wish HBO wouldn't pay so much for the fight and they should put it on BAD if it's gonna happen. Collazo deserves a rematch, but he expects a bunch of money.

Cintron already has stated that he would go down to 147 for the right fight. I got a good laugh at you saying that Clottey and Kermit dont really deserve a fight with a guy like Berto who hasnt proven more then either of those 2 fighters. Cintron is promoted by DiBella so there is no reason other then Berto being protected that this fight wont be coming off. Is Bailey a bigger money or a higher profile fight?

I think Cintron might beat him too, but that's not the point. The point is, he shit on boxing basically by being such a coward in the fight with Paul Williams which was a fight he could've possibly won. If Cintron and Berto both fought each other, I'd be rooting for both of them to knock each other out at the same time. I want to see Berto lose too. But I want it to be against a guy who actually deserves the glory from it and not some bitch ass poser cry baby like the Frog.

Jesus, HBO aught to be ashamed of themselves if they air this fight. I don't know how many times I've read articles about how HBO is no longer going to allow Berto to go in soft. Berto has been fighting nobodies and bums for a long time now. Bailely's almost 37 and way past his best and Berto is way, and I mean way overdue for a huge step up in competiton. At this stage of his career he shoudl be fighting the Pacquiao's, Mayweathers, or some other AAA or at least A level fighter. Perhaps Berto, HBO and Berto's team know something about the fighter we dont huh?
