An emotional festival was held in honor of the recently deceased, prominent Argentine trainer Daniel Saucedo. His son, former WBA featherweight world title challenger and current South American champion, Fernando David Saucedo (39-6, 1KOs) returned for the first time since last year's decision loss to Chris John. He won an easy four round decision over Ricardo Fabricio Chamorro (19-35) at Sociedad de Fomento Gobernador Monteverde in Florencio Varela, Buenos Aires. The scores were 40-36 on the cards.
