I know, I still really feel it's because he beat like 3 of HBO's staple fighters: Cintron, Williams, and Pavlik. I don't know the inside of boxing politics but I know that having those guys get spanked on national TV cost them a lot of money. Martinez is just some dude that came on the scene and started kicking butt and tossing HBO's prior investments in the above mentioned guys into the garbage for them.

They are trying to make an example out of Martinez.....he will beat Dzinzuruk though and then he will retire Cotto if they fight.
