Vitali Klitschko is has 4 title defenses

If you want to count the WBO, he already won a heavyweight belt and defended it 3 times, and won the WBC title and defended it once, I guess thats an achievment of its own, winning two different belts. Still a long way to go if he wants to be remembered.

Well belts don't count, it's who you are and who you beat and how good you look and **** that counts. The Klitschko's have a long way to go.

It's a funny thing. Vitali wore the WBO belt and people barely noticed or paid attention. At time's I forget he wore it also. But now that he wears the WBC many boxing writers and fans regard him as the best heavy out there. That right there should tell you how illegitimate the WBO belt really is in boxing circles.

The WBO belt is now recognized as a major belt by most publications and networks. When he first held the belt, it was a paper belt.

There are a few threads on the WBO's legitimacy floating around the boards here. Now that the belts are all splintered, the holder of the WBO belt is often a more credible champion than the other organizations, especially the WBA - who sometimes has a "super" champ and gives the belt to their next highest ranked fighters...

                Taylor - Unified Champ
Corrales - also holds WBC and has proven himself over the years. Not the WBO that made him all that
Cotto - not really considered as a champ, but a GREAT prospect
Calderon - is he fighting in a division? Ohh yes, minimumweight lol
Calzaghe - The Brits are always complaining that he is not recognized anywhere..

So I kinda agree with the *****... Brewster made a name for himself.. Don King Helped as well

I don't think the WBO is what it used to be, it's more weakened now. I remember in the early 90's everybody wanted a WBO belt (Roy Jones and Bernard Hopkins begging Chris Eubank for a title shot for example, Gerald McClellan begging Manny Steward to throw him in against Mugabi) because people thought it was going to put an end to alphabet crap and leave the other feds behind, WBO was a refreshing contrast to the nonsense that went on at other feds. But since Barrera, Hamed and Michalczewski lost their titles it hasn't had any decent new champions and probably won't again, it's weak now.
