Robbie Peden use to be Marco Antonio Barrera's sparring partner ?

I was watching Peden vs Marquez and they mentioned that peden was sparring with barrera.. He said he held his own vs barrera and felt that if he could hold his own vs barrera then he woudlnt have problems with marquez. we all know what happened..i wish we could see a marquez vs barrera or marquez vs morales..both fights would be good and we will truly know how good marquez is

Bomber, as most us boxing fans would know has been away from australia for a number of years fighting in the US. That said, he has a really good following back home in Australia (amongst the boxing community). I live in BRISBANE,, but grew up in MELBOURNE, which is where he had the fight against Nate Campbell.

There is a really good vibe that goes with this fight,, barerra is a legend, but Bomber is REALLY hungry for this, and has been in the ring plenty with MAB(reportedly 200+ sparring rounds) , and with barerra getting on a bit in age, perhaps he is ripe for he picking!!!

It's really no secret Australia breeds exciting fighters. I am a big fan of Shannon Taylor and his free style. I would like to see him fight Americo Santos in a bout at 140.

"Bulli Blaster" is one of the coolest nicknames ever. I have no idea what it means......do you? is Bulli an area of Australia?

Its great to see a little bit of recognition from international boxing fans, when usually we get none! Can i ask you guys what you think of SAmmy Soliman....

I have watched the majority of sammys fights especially the fight against australian idiot anthony mondine!. He is really well known for his arkward style and unpredictability. I also watched the Zuniga fight with interest, but i think alot of the untidiness can be attributed to the Crazy hot weather!!!

Persoanlly i think he MAY give taylor a bit of trouble, but i dont think he can get the job done against JT and BHOP. I think one level below is where he should sit!!!

Opinions guys?

DOnt jsut be a toss and say, ohh he is a wild swinger etc, compare his style against the top ranked guys NOW, and how it may pose problems!

I think Sam Solimon is better than people give him credit for. His K.O. percentage does not do his knockout power justice, and I'm with you on him perhaps giving Taylor problems. It's easy to overlook a guy like that, especially sitting on top.
